Master Vince Palumbo Graded to 'Professor' Rank
in Combat Jujitsu by Soke Brian Dossett 10th Dan

Authorized by Vince Palumbo

Master Vince Palumbo presented Professor     Master Vince Palumbo has been graded to the 'Professor' level in Spirit Combat Jujitsu by Soke Brian Dossett after a Combat Jujitsu seminar which was held in Adelaide, South Australia recently
When asked about his new 8th Degree Black Belt rank in the Spirit Combat Jujitsu system, these are the kind words that Master Vince Palumbo said about his Jujitsu teacher from the United Kingdom.
I have trained with this great Jujitsu teacher for so many years now, and I thank him for the knowledge that he has passed onto me, and I would just like to say that Soke Brian Dossett is a Martial Arts 'living legend' with more than 40 years of absolute  consummate study in the fighting arts, with all his experience and fine achievements, are countless.  This is why his name is known by many people in the martial arts network internationally.
In the 1960’s, Soke Brian Dossett formulated his Spirit Combat Jujitsu system as a modern art, and after the training that he had received from some very reputable Japanese instructors he went on to develop own ‘hybrid’ martial art system, because he felt that the Jujitsu needed to be simplified down to an understandable syllabus, so that all Westerners could grasp the many principle's of the art.
He took parts of other martial arts such as, Judo, Aikido, Karate and Boxing and put them together to form a modern and effective Combat Jujitsu style. In more than 40 years very little has had to change in this art; most changes that have occurred are to improve the safety of the art so as to come up to modern standards and expectations.
Soke Brian Dossett has introduced his style of the Jujitsu martial art to students all over the world, to places such as United Kingdom, Europe, India, USA, Australia and New Zealand just to name a few. The great man has taught his restraint techniques to law enforcement and security officers all over the world too.

To list all his accomplishments, honors and awards would be impossible, and yet to say that he has made a difference in the martial arts world, would be an understatement.
He has given over 40 years of his life to the Martial Arts, and it is his love for life, and now most of all it is what he believes in and trusts. He is a natural teacher, with a 'let me show you' attitude of a man. He is a great role model too. And when he shows you something, it will be an experience that you will never forget, and it’s that real something that is powerful enough to change people’s lives.
This year, many of us from North America, Australia and New Zealand, have had the opportunity to see Soke Brian Dossett in action again, and to witness the fluidity and effectiveness of  his Modern Jujitsu martial art form. To witness this very healthy and fit 67 year old man, is really quite amazing.
Soke Brian Dossett is a member of many martial art organisations all over the world, and he is also to be considered as a reference point, especially in the art of Jujitsu. Soke Brian Dossett is deeply committed to sharing his knowledge and principles with all of his students from all around the world, and he is 'ALWAYS' only too willing to demonstrate techniques to anyone, or aninterested audience.
He has helped many ex-offenders by teaching them self-respect, self-control and honesty through the martial arts, and to this day, Soke Brian Dossett continues to work with disadvantaged youth and senior citizens in his community, and around the world.
Soke Brian Dossett can teach you the real essence behind Judo, Jujitsu and Aiki Jujutsu techniques, because this man has the ability and knowledge to give any dedicated student the ‘golden keys’ that will help you to unlock the many secrets behind the Judo, Jujitsu and Aiki Jujutsu closed doors.
His Spirit Combat Jujitsu system is unparalleled in its combat effectiveness and simplicity, and it can be blended with any other martial art style that a student already practices, because it will give you the edge on your contemporaries that are studying the same martial art that you are already currently studying.
Spirit Combat Jujitsu in its most basic form, means survival through simplicity, and it is based upon the divine knowledge of self, and the art’s most reality based practical, applicable technique applications. While on the physical level, the system is based upon simplistic movement to key areas of the body, thereby dictating controlled responses in defense of one's life, and this is why Spirit Combat Jujitsu system incorporates the strengths of many arts such as Karate, Boxing, Judo, Aikido, Kickboxing and now Eskrima.
The many joint locking and nerve attacks of the Combat Jujitsu, teaches the modern day warrior to walk the Earth in peace and never to be the nasty aggressor. But it also teaches the student when attacked, to fight with those who seek to fight, and if given no other alternative but to fight, then we are willing and capable to have a fight to the death, if this means our survival from the attack.
Soke Brian Dossett teaches students to be civilised and gentle people, but to also have the ability to fight like a cornered Tiger, especially if it means your survival in a very nasty and violent situation on the street. Soke Brian Dossett says, “My Martial Art is my song, and I do strive to teach everyone how to sing it!”
