Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, DBP Building, Makati
Every week, Luxid conducted a meeting at the DBP building in Makati, courtesy of DBP executive Jay Macalincag. Baby Boy brought me along to give me a taste of what tomfoolery took place during these meetings.
At this meeting, I had a happy reunion with classmates Rom Azanza and Gary Makasiar whom I have not seen since high school, as well as with Babes Oreta and Pol Asuncion whom I believe I last saw at the reunion in Las Vegas a couple of years ago.
The rest were batchmates I have not seen since high school like Jimmy Alabanza, Topper Coronel, Boy Santos, Pat Pineda and others I have never met because they were college batchmates like Pol Rivas.
For the record, some business relating to the reunion was conducted simply because Ruby the secretary cracked the whip on these juveniles, and Topper Coronel took his job seriously.

In the evening, we dropped by the restaurant at the Wack Wack Country Club where Manuel “Boy” Favis was hosting a baptismal party for a grandchild. His guests included Ray Panlilio and Charlie Favis, who happens to be Boy’s cousin.

Standing, Manuel “Boy” Favis. Yes, the two Favises are cousins,
Believe it or not!
It was great to see Charlie Favis, who was not only a batchmate in Ateneo High School but a classmate in LiaCom at De La Salle University. We had not seen each other since college. Unfortunately, this was the only time I saw Charlie during this trip, as he did not make it to any of the other school reunion activities.
