Today was a national holiday, National Heroes Day. So it was only fitting that I would meet up with one of my Luxid heroes, Tito Osias.

Tito and I met for coffee at Market Market in Taguig. This would be the first of several meetings during this trip. The last time we saw each other was in July 2006 last year at Poro Point, San Fernando, La Union. Tito came from Manila, while I came from Binmaley, Pangasinan with two of my children.

Tito Osias and Jay de Leon at Poro Point, La Union,
Philippines on July 2006.

This time, we spent a leisurely couple of hours enjoying our coffee, just catching up, reminiscing and plotting. Since this was a clandestine meeting, there were no pictures that recorded this event. Instead, I have decided to republish our photo last year taken at Poro Point. After all, I look a year younger then. Tito looks even younger now.
